You can certainly have eggs during the summer, as they are a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. However, it is important to handle and store eggs properly to avoid foodborne illness, especially during the hot summer months.

Eggs should be refrigerated at 4°C or below and cooked to an internal temperature of 70°C to kill any bacteria. It is also recommended to wash hands, utensils, and surfaces that come in contact with raw eggs to prevent cross-contamination.

Additionally, some women may need to limit their egg intake if they have certain health conditions, such as high cholesterol. Consulting with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian can help to determine the appropriate egg intake for individual needs.
